Sie w\u00e4chst in einem einzigen Zug von den Weiden bis in den Schnee, und der Bildaufbau soll genau diese Schroffheit bewahren: unten der dunkle Schwung eines Hangs, dar\u00fcber die Wand, dann Wolken, die am Gipfelgrat h\u00e4ngen.<\/p>\n<p>Ganz unten, so klein, dass man ihn beim ersten Hinsehen \u00fcbersehen kann, steht ein Bauernhof. Er ist das einzige Bauwerk im Bild, und an ihm allein bemisst sich alles: Ohne ihn k\u00f6nnte die Wand jede beliebige H\u00f6he haben, mit ihm wird der Ma\u00dfstab schonungslos deutlich. Ich habe ihn bewusst weit unten platziert und ihm diese Gr\u00f6\u00dfe gelassen.<\/p>\n<p>Schwarzwei\u00df, weil es bei dieser Wand um Masse und Kanten geht, nicht um Farbe. In Schwarzwei\u00df l\u00f6sen sich die Schneefelder sauber vom Fels, die Couloirs wirken wie gezeichnete Linien, und das Dach des Hofes beh\u00e4lt gerade so viel Tonwert, dass man es findet, sobald man wei\u00df, wonach man sucht.<\/p>\n<p>Seit Jahrhunderten bewirtschaften Menschen dieses Tal, auf steilem Land mit kurzem Sommer und direkt unter mehreren Millionen Tonnen H\u00e4ngegletscher.
