An diesem Morgen hing Nebel zwischen den B\u00e4umen, und das Licht, das durch ihn fiel, war schon gr\u00fcn, bevor es irgendetwas erreichte.<\/p>\n<p>Ich habe einen tiefen Standpunkt zwischen den Farnen gew\u00e4hlt und eine Gruppe von Eichen ins Bild genommen, deren \u00c4ste sich in Kopfh\u00f6he kreuzen. Diese \u00dcberkreuzung ist die Komposition: Sie bildet ein grobes Gew\u00f6lbe \u00fcber der Bildmitte und gibt einem St\u00fcck Wald eine Decke.<\/p>\n<p>Die Trennung der Ebenen besorgt der Nebel. Ohne ihn w\u00e4re der Wald eine ununterscheidbare gr\u00fcne Masse; mit ihm ist jede Reihe von St\u00e4mmen ein wenig heller grau als die davor, und Tiefe entsteht ganz ohne Zutun des Lichts.<\/p>\n<p>Die Bretagne bev\u00f6lkert ihre W\u00e4lder seit jeher mit Geschichten, und als ich um sieben Uhr morgens in diesem Wald stand, wunderte mich das nicht mehr.
