This was the first frame I made on that misty May morning in the Huelgoat forest, before moving further into the boulders that would later become “Arch of green” and “Ferns in the chaos.” The Breton legends around here run thick: a giant’s rage, a treasure still hidden somewhere among the rocks, Merlin himself said to walk these paths at dawn. Standing alone in that fog with the camera raised, I understood exactly why people still tell those stories.
