My advice for this photo

- Acrylic glassOn fine art paper, I would choose a baryta paper.

- Floater frame · White
Two colours and a single subject: acrylic glass gives the yellow and the blue their full intensity, and the white frame stays light.
- Made to order: usually two to three weeks in mainland France and Europe
- Signed-for Colissimo delivery or, depending on the country, a pickup point; courier for Large and Extra large sizes and some framed prints

The story behind the photo
Two colours and one object. The rapeseed fills the lower half of the frame in an unbroken yellow, the sky above is a clean, untroubled blue, and a single small tree stands on the line where they meet.
I put the horizon exactly across the middle, which is normally a mistake and here is the entire proposition. The picture is a statement about division: two equal fields of flat colour, and one thing standing on the join to prove the join is real.
I waited for a day with no cloud at all. Any texture in that sky would have unbalanced it immediately; the upper half has to be as empty as the lower half is full, or the symmetry collapses and you are left with an ordinary field.
Minimalism in landscape is mostly subtraction, and subtraction means walking a long way to find the one position where nothing unwanted is in the frame. I covered a lot of that field before finding the line where this tree stood alone.

Materials
Hahnemühle fine art papers (Photo Rag, Museum Etching, Fine Art Baryta…), chosen for each photograph.
Print mounted on 3 mm aluminium Dibond: rigid, light, no glazing.
Print set between 3 mm Dibond and an acrylic sheet: richer colour and depth, resistant to UV and humidity.
Framing, optional
For paper prints: white mount and Plexiglas glazing, museum glass optional. The mount puts space between the photo and the frame: a classic, understated look that draws the eye to the image.
For aluminium and acrylic, black or white. A narrow gap separates the photo from the moulding: it seems to hang suspended inside its frame, for a contemporary look.
For aluminium and acrylic: an aluminium structure fixed to the back, invisible once hung. The photo seems to rest on the wall, slightly set off from it.
